The Harley-Davidson X440 has generated significant interest in India due to its competitive pricing, appealing looks, and potential to challenge Royal Enfield in the market.

The X440 is the result of a collaboration between Hero and Harley-Davidson, with prices starting at Rs 2.29 lakh for the entry-level variant.

The bike is available in three variants: Denim, Vivid, and S, with the latter two priced at Rs 2.49 lakh and Rs 2.69 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).

All three variants share several standard features, although they differ in terms of additional equipment and aesthetics.

Powering the X440 is a 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, delivering 27bhp and 38Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Denim variant, priced at Rs 2.29 lakh, features an auto-illuminating LED headlamp, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, dual-channel ABS, TFT display, KYB USD forks, and a USB port.

Harley-Davidson claims a mileage of 35kmpl for the X440, which is impressive considering its category.

The Vivid variant, priced at Rs 2.49 lakh, offers similar features to the Denim variant but comes with alloy wheels instead of spoke wheels.
